To add a Text and media area in VLE, follow these steps:

1. Turn editing on in your course homepage.
2. Go to the section where you want to add the Text and media area.
3. Click on "Add an activity or resource" and select "Text and media area" from the list.
4. In the General section, you can add your text, images, or embed media.
5. You can choose the heading style for your text by clicking the down arrow next to the A icon.
6. Once you are done, click "Save and return to course" .

It's important to note that the Text and media area was previously known as "Label" in VLE, but the functionality remains the same.

8. Determine the grading settings for the assignment.
9. Optionally, you can enable group submission and set restrictions for student access in the "Common Module Settings" and "Restrict Access" sections.

Students will see the assignment link on the course page and can click on it to enter their text or upload their files . Instructors can view and grade student submissions by clicking on the assignment and selecting "View/grade all submissions" . It's worth noting that VLE automatically creates a grade item for the assignment in the Gradebook, allowing instructors to track and manage grades for the assignment
